The Task provides powerful collaboration features to keep your team aligned. Comment on tasks and tickets, attach files, and track all activity in one place.
Comments
Comments allow team members to discuss work directly on tasks, tickets, and projects.
Adding a Comment
- 1. Open a task, ticket, or project
- 2. Scroll to the Comments section
- 3. Type your message in the comment box
- 4. Click Add Comment
Comment Features
- • Rich Text — Format your comments with basic styling
- • Timestamps — See when each comment was posted
- • Author Info — Know who wrote each comment
- • Chronological Order — Comments are shown oldest to newest

File Attachments
Attach files to tasks, tickets, and projects to keep all related documents in one place.
Uploading Files
- 1. Open a task, ticket, or project
- 2. Find the Attachments section
- 3. Click Upload or drag and drop files
- 4. Wait for the upload to complete
Supported File Types
You can attach various file types including:
- • Images — PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG
- • Documents — PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT
- • Spreadsheets — XLS, XLSX, CSV
- • Archives — ZIP, RAR
Managing Attachments
- • View — Click on an attachment to preview or download
- • Download — Save files to your computer
- • Delete — Remove attachments you no longer need
Activity Feed
Every action in The Task is logged in the activity feed, providing a complete history of changes.
What's Tracked
- • Creation — When items are created
- • Updates — Changes to fields (title, status, assignee, etc.)
- • Comments — When comments are added
- • Attachments — File uploads and deletions
- • Status Changes — Progression through workflow stages
Viewing Activity
Access activity in several places:
- • Task/Ticket Detail — See activity for that specific item
- • Project Page — View project-wide activity
- • Dashboard — Recent activity across your organization
Activity Information
Each activity entry shows:
- • What changed
- • Who made the change
- • When it happened
- • Old and new values (for updates)
Real-Time Updates
The Task uses Livewire for real-time updates. This means:
- • Changes appear instantly without page refresh
- • Timer updates in real-time
- • Task movements are reflected immediately
- • Comments appear as they're posted

- 1. Developer moves task to "In Review"
- 2. Reviewer adds comments with feedback
- 3. Developer addresses comments and replies
- 4. Reviewer approves by moving to "Done"

- 3. Client attaches reference files if needed
